The Sydney Cricket Ground began work on a new state-of-the-art modern pavilion, replacing the existing Noble, Bradman and Messenger stands in late 2012. The new works will uncover  a four level stand, offering spectators better viewing facilities and improvements, including seats closer to the field of play, the largest video screen of any at an Australian sports ground and enhanced catering with superior dining and bar areas, including a roof terrace which will set a new benchmark for Australian sports venues. In addition to the sweeping views of the SCG, the roof top terrace located on Level 4 will offer spectacular views of the Sydney CBD skyline which is only a few kilometres from the ground.

Allianz Stadium (previously known as the Sydney Football Stadium) is situated right next to the Sydney Cricket Ground and plays host to Rugby League, Union, Football and Concerts.
